Based in Anchorage, Alaska, the Alaska Goddess Network was created to connect women interested in exploring or growing their spirituality with community and sisterhood.
Our focus is on women's spirituality, women's experiences, and how our experiences affect our spirituality.
We believe something powerful and transformative happens when women support other women, and our goal is to capture that magic. We are creating space for women to come together and experience sisterhood, providing spiritual support for women through all stages of life, and growing and learning as a community.
"The most radical thing you can do as a woman is practice self-care and self-preservation in a world which consistently undervalues and perceives you as a vessel for the wellbeing of others with little regard to your own needs. The truth is, you are allowed to put yourself first, you are allowed to draw boundaries and you are allowed to be angry. An awareness of this, I feel, is the first step towards change of any kind."
